Nawaz Sharif, the supremo of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), has been in self-imposed exile since 2019, but he is set to return to Pakistan on October 21, 2023, after spending time in London.
He arrived in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), ahead of his much-anticipated return. During his two-day stay in Dubai, he will meet with a selected group of people.
Nawaz Sharif will then travel to Pakistan on October 21 via Dubai, and he will be accompanied by around 150 people on his return. The PML-N has decided to hire a private jet for his journey, and they have contacted a private aviation company to provide this service. The Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) has also been contacted to grant permission for the private jet’s route.
Additionally, the PML-N has arranged for a private company’s services to shower flower petals at the party’s rally at the Minar-e-Pakistan following Sharif’s return. A Cessna plane will be used for this purpose. The CAA has issued a notification for the use of the private jet to shower petals in the city at 3:30 pm.
The Islamabad High Court (IHC) has granted protective bail to Nawaz Sharif in the Avenfield and Al-Azizia cases until October 24, allowing him to land freely in Pakistan on the 21st.
