Today on Saturday, the current exchange rate for the US Dollar in Pakistan is at Rs278.80.
However, it’s important to note that the dollar had been consistently losing value in comparison to the Pakistani rupee for 28 consecutive business days before experiencing a brief rebound. The recent fluctuations were influenced by various factors, including domestic and international.
In the open market, the dollar’s rate remained stable at 280 rupees. It’s worth mentioning that some analysts, like former Chairman of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), Shabbar Zaidi, predict that the US dollar’s value could reach around 250 rupees in the near future, citing gradual improvements in the economy.
