A Bangladeshi fan, Shoyab Ali, reported an awful incident during the 17th ODI match of the ICC World Cup 2023 against India in Pune.
A video rapidly went viral in which a Bangladeshi fan said that a few Indian fans forcefully stole his ‘tiger’ [which he brought into the stadium to cheer on his team] and took out the cotton. The event occurred at the Maharashtra Cricket Association’s field gallery.

In a video shared on social media, Shoyab Ali, a dedicated supporter from Bangladesh, voiced his profound disappointment, expressing his surprise at witnessing behavior from Indian cricket fans that he had never anticipated. He underscored the significance of upholding the spirit of cricket as a sport for gentlemen, urging for respect and courtesy to prevail during matches.
Within the same video, several Indian fans can be observed shouldering responsibility and extending apologies to their Bangladeshi counterparts.
