In a recent meeting with French Ambassador Nicolas Galey, Pakistan’s Minister for Railways, Shahid Ashraf Tarar, unveiled ambitious plans to develop a railway network that would connect Kohat to Kharlachi, fostering stronger ties between Pakistan and Afghanistan. During the meeting, Minister Tarar also highlighted the investment potential of the Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway M-6 for France.
Furthermore, the Pakistan National Shipping Corporation (PNSC) is actively expanding its horizons, offering a myriad of investment opportunities. Caretaker Minister Tatar emphasized the substantial investment avenues, including those available to French investors.
Ambassador Galey acknowledged the enduring relationship between France and Pakistan and expressed the interest of French investors in various Pakistani projects. He underscored the diverse investment prospects in Pakistan.
Minister Tarar also emphasized Pakistan’s democratic stability since 2008, which bodes well for its future prospects. Notably, Alstom, the French transport company, is strengthening its foothold in Pakistan, signifying a significant step towards increased investments.
