Karachi’s Pakistan Post Office has taken a significant step to ease the burden on citizens by setting up NADRA counters in seven of its post offices. These counters will provide a range of services, including the renewal of identity cards (CNICs) and the issuance of temporary addresses. This decision was made in response to the overwhelming rush and long queues at NADRA offices in the city.
The move aims to offer convenience to the residents of Pakistan’s most populous city. Now, Karachi’s residents can efficiently renew their CNICs, and obtain B-forms, birth certificates, and Family Registration Certificates (FRC) at these newly established post office counters.
The services at these NADRA counters will be available from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., ensuring that citizens have ample time to access these vital services. This initiative is set to improve the overall experience of obtaining these essential documents for the people of Karachi.
