President Dr. Arif Alvi emphasized the importance of embracing Allama Iqbal’s teachings on Islam and his philosophy of ‘Khudi,’ which advocates the promotion of self-respect and human dignity. In his message on Iqbal Day, the president highlighted Iqbal as a profound thinker who instilled in Muslims the essence of unity through his writings and poetry.
Furthermore, Caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar paid tribute to the poet, acknowledging Iqbal’s role in awakening the consciousness of the Muslims in the subcontinent regarding their fundamental rights, thereby fostering a sense of unity among them.
The interim PM encouraged the youth to actively participate in the service and development of the country, guided by positive and progressive thinking, in line with Iqbal’s vision, as reported by Radio Pakistan.
