Pakistani Rupee settled at 287.80 in early hour of trading, an increase of Re0.07 in the inter-bank market.
Globally, the US dollar experienced a setback on Wednesday, declining broadly after a notable drop overnight. This decline followed a surprisingly subdued US inflation reading, reinforcing speculation that the Federal Reserve has concluded its monetary tightening cycle.
As the dollar weakened, various peer currencies saw an upswing, with the euro positioned just below the over two-month high it achieved on Tuesday.
