“In a move to alleviate the burden of inflation on the public, the caretaker government has decided to cut petrol prices by Rs2.4 per litre for the next two weeks.

The revised prices will be applicable from midnight on November 16 until November 30. The Finance Division stated that, based on the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority’s recommendation, the prices of petroleum products were reduced by up to Rs9.01.
Specifically, the price of high-speed diesel (HSD) per litre was decreased by Rs6.47, while the prices of kerosene oil and light diesel oil saw reductions of Rs6.05 and Rs9.01, respectively.”
