The Punjab Mass Transit Authority has halted the Orange Line Metro Train services in Lahore due to the annual urs of Allama Khadim Hussain Rizvi, the former chief of Tahreek Labaik Pakistan. This religious event began last Sunday and will end on Tuesday evening, attracting TLP followers from across Pakistan to Lahore for a three-day celebration.
Concerned about potential damage to public infrastructure, the government decided to suspend the key train services in Lahore without prior notice, causing inconvenience to commuters in the afternoon.
