Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates signed memorandums of understanding (MoUs) on Monday, paving the way for investment cooperation and unlocking “multi-billion dollars” in funding from the Middle Eastern state.
The agreements were formalized during a meeting between caretaker Prime Minister Anwaarul Haq Kakar and UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan in Abu Dhabi, as part of the former’s week-long trip to the Middle East.
