A baby born during the early days of the Gaza war has been miraculously rescued from the rubble of a bombed house after 37 days, according to a Palestinian civil defense member. Nooh Al Shaghnobi, who played a role in the rescue, shared a video on Instagram, noting that the child’s parents were martyrs.
Despite initial beliefs that the baby did not survive, she was successfully pulled from the wreckage after three hours of labor and has been named “Peace.” The rescue worker expressed gratitude, saying, “O Allah, protect her with your eyes that do not sleep and make her an asset for Islam and Muslims.”
In response to the October 7 attacks, Israel launched a significant military campaign resulting in the death of nearly 15,000 Palestinians in Gaza, with a majority being women and children.
Mediator Qatar announced on Monday that the truce between Israel and Hamas forces in Gaza has been extended by two days, maintaining a temporary pause in the seven weeks of warfare that has caused extensive damage to the Palestinian enclave.
