During the winter holidays, Justice Sardar Tariq Masood is set to assume the role of acting Chief Justice of Pakistan, taking charge in the absence of Chief Justice Qazi Faez Isa, who will be abroad.
Justice Masood is scheduled to take the oath as Acting Chief Justice tomorrow, overseeing the responsibilities for a two-week period.
The Supreme Court of Pakistan’s registrar’s office has issued a notification regarding the winter judicial vacation, spanning from December 18 to 31.
During this period, court offices will remain open, with the exception of public holidays, and urgent cases will be addressed by the available bench. Regular court operations will resume on January 1.
