During the opening hours of trading on Friday, the Pakistani rupee continued to gain ground against the US dollar, appreciating by 0.3%.
At 10:30 am, the rupee stood at 280.28, marking an increase of Re0.83 in the inter-bank market.
In comparison, the currency had maintained relative stability on Thursday, closing at 281.11 against the US dollar.
