Cricket Australia has unveiled the schedule for Pakistan’s limited-over tour, where the Green Shirts are slated to face the Kangaroos in November.
The tour will feature three ODIs and as many T20Is, with the ODIs kicking off on November 4 in Melbourne. The ODI series will conclude on November 10 in Perth, followed by the T20I series starting on November 14 in Brisbane.
This tour marks Pakistan’s return to Australia after an 11-month hiatus, last competing against the Kangaroos in the Benaud-Qadir Trophy, which comprised three Test matches held across Perth, Sydney, and Melbourne in December 2023-January 2024.
The announcement coincides with the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) ongoing efforts to appoint a new head coach, a position left vacant after Grant Bradburn’s transition to the National Cricket Academy (NCA) following a change in his portfolio in November 2023.
Last week, the PCB also unveiled a reorganized national selection committee comprising former cricketers Mohammad Yousuf, Wahab Riaz, Abdul Razzaq, and Asad Shafiq. The seven-member committee includes the head coach (yet to be appointed), captain, and an analyst.
