In Pakistan’s auto industry, all market players and car manufacturers are facing challenges, irrespective of whether they are old or new entrants. However, amidst this tough situation, car companies are rolling out various offers on their flagship models to attract customers.
Among the ‘BIG 3’, Pakistan Suzuki Motors Company (PSMC) has taken the lead by introducing a series of enticing offers on its hatchbacks. In a recent social media post, Pak Suzuki unveiled an ‘Exchange Bonus’ offer, dubbed ‘Purani do, Nai Lo’, targeting those eager to upgrade their old Suzuki to the new Wagon R.
The company’s post stated:
“Elevate your driving experience by exchanging your old car for the new WagonR and receive an exchange bonus of Rs.150,000.”
This offer is aimed at not only boosting sales but also providing an attractive opportunity for customers to upgrade to a newer model while benefiting from a significant exchange bonus.
Save Up to Rs. 800,000
Pak Suzuki Motors Company has recently launched a remarkable promotion covering its entire range of models, including the Alto, Wagon R, and Swift. This promotion promises customers the opportunity to save up to Rs. 800,000, making it easier for them to realize their dream of owning a Suzuki vehicle. Partnering with Habib Metro Auto Finance further enhances this offer, enabling customers to enjoy substantial savings on their desired vehicles.
Imagine the impact of saving up to Rs. 800,000 – a significant amount that could greatly influence your budget. Additionally, with fixed rates starting as low as 18%, customers can drive off with even more savings in hand.
These promotions come at a crucial time for the company, as it faces challenges in sales and profit volume. According to the Pakistan Automotive Manufacturers Association (PAMA) report, Pak Suzuki’s annual sales have declined by 27%, with only 4,101 vehicles sold last month compared to 5,628 units sold during the same period last year.
However, there is a glimmer of hope in month-on-month sales, with Pak Suzuki Motors Company experiencing a 16% increase, selling 4,101 vehicles compared to 4,885 cars in February 2024.
Breaking down the sales figures, PSMC sold 3,373 units of the Alto, 320 units of the Suzuki Cultus, 136 units of the Suzuki Wagon R, 663 units of the Suzuki Swift, 183 units of the Suzuki Bolan, and 210 units of the Suzuki Ravi.
