The completion of the first phase of the Thar Coal project is set to add 1,320 megawatts of electricity to the National Grid.
Sindh Minister for Energy, Syed Nasir Hussain Shah, discussed the significance of the Thar Coal Block-I Power Generation Project during a meeting with Shanghai Power CEO, Meng Donghai, and CEO-SSRC Jain in Karachi. The project, generating 2,300 megawatts, is expected to significantly contribute to meeting the nation’s energy needs.
Assuring the delegation, Nasir Shah pledged prompt resolution of any obstacles hindering the project’s progress.
