Nadra inaugurated another ‘mega registration centre’ in Karachi on Thursday to enhance accessibility to its services for citizens in the metropolis.
According to Nadra’s Director General, Ehtasham Shahid, the new facility situated at Safoora Chowrangi on University Road will operate for 16 hours daily, from 8 am to 12 am.
With 20 counters, the centre aims to serve 700 citizens daily, with plans to increase capacity to 1,500 by the end of 2024. This marks Nadra’s 21st centre in Karachi.
Existing centres in the city include those in Malir, VIP NRC RHO, Karachi Senior Citizen, Orangi Town, Landhi, Gulshan-e-Hadid, Soldier Bazar, Lyari, Saoodabad, Awami Markaz Sharea Faisal, Shah Faisal Colony, DHA’s Nisar Shaheed Park, Executive Clifton, Executive Shahra-e-Quaideen, Executive Sadar Passport Office, Executive KCCI, Mega North Nazimabad, Mega DHA Karachi, Mega Siemens Chowrangi, and Ibrahim Haidree.
