The Ministry of Commerce, Government of Pakistan, Trade Development Authority of Pakistan, and the Embassy of Pakistan in Tashkent are jointly organizing the first ‘Made in Pakistan’ Exhibition from June 28-30, with the cooperation of the Government of Uzbekistan.
The ‘Made in Pakistan’ Exhibition in Tashkent is part of Pakistan’s Regional Connectivity Policy, aiming to bring businessmen from Pakistan and Uzbekistan together to explore ways to enhance trade and establish long-lasting partnerships, according to a press release issued on Saturday.
The event was inaugurated by the Deputy Minister of Industry, Investment, and Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Gulamov Shokhrukh Khasanovich, along with Pakistan’s Ambassador Ahmed Farooq, Federal Secretary of Commerce Pakistan Ahsan Ali Mangi, and Chief Executive of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan Muhammad Zubair Motiwala.
Over 80 Pakistani companies from diverse sectors are showcasing their products at the exhibition, and approximately 750 B2B meetings have been held with local businesses. Visitors to the event have shown a strong interest in Pakistani products and have been impressed with the diverse range and quality offered by Pakistani businesses.
Government representatives from Pakistan and Uzbekistan have also engaged in fruitful discussions aimed at promoting trade and fostering closer economic ties between the two countries.
