International Plastic Bag Free Day is being observed today to raise awareness about the fight against plastic pollution. On this occasion, the Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, highlighted the severe threat posed by plastic pollution and called for decisive action to address the issue.
In her message, Maryam Nawaz Sharif reaffirmed the government’s commitment to ending the use of plastic bags in Punjab. She urged citizens to support the government’s efforts by ensuring the implementation of the law banning the production, sale, and use of plastic bags.
