Karachi: After experiencing a significant decrease over the past few days, the price of gold in Pakistan saw an increase on Wednesday.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs600, bringing the new price to Rs245,600. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs514, reaching Rs210,562. The price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold remained steady at Rs193,016.
In the international market, gold prices also showed an upward trend. APGJSA reported that the global rate for gold stood at $2,372 per ounce, reflecting a $10 decrease during the trading day.
Meanwhile, silver prices in the local market remained stable, with the price per tola holding at Rs2,900.
