Gold prices in Pakistan continued their upward trend for the third consecutive session on Friday, reflecting gains in the international market. In the local market, the price of gold per tola rose by Rs2,200, reaching Rs249,000.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,886, bringing it to Rs213,477, according to the rates shared by the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
On Thursday, the price of gold per tola had already increased by Rs1,200 in Pakistan.
In the international market, gold prices also saw an increase on Friday. According to APGJSA, the international rate was $2,404 per ounce (with a premium of $20), reflecting a gain of $24 during the day.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable at Rs2,900 per tola.
Back in April, gold had reached an all-time high of Rs252,200 per tola in the local market.
