ISLAMABAD – Gold prices soared to record levels in Pakistan’s domestic market on Friday, reflecting substantial gains.
According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola surged by Rs2,400, reaching a new high of Rs257,300. Concurrently, the cost of gold for 10 grams increased by Rs2,057, bringing the total to Rs220,593.
In the international market, gold also experienced notable gains. The price per ounce rose by $26, climbing to $2,458.
The previous day also saw a rise in gold prices. The per tola rate had increased by Rs1,400, reaching Rs254,900, while the price for 10 grams had gone up by Rs1,201, settling at Rs218,536.
