Shahram Changezi, one of Pakistan’s top snooker players, has made history by becoming the first player to achieve a maximum 147 break in American snooker. He accomplished this remarkable feat during a practice match for the Embassy Open, outshining former Pakistani player Farhan Idrees with an impeccable performance.
This 147 break, completed in just 10 minutes, is the first-ever recorded in the US at any level.
Recognized as a leading snooker talent, Changezi was part of the Pakistani team that won bronze at the 2010 Asian Games. He has secured multiple medals in both Asian and World Championships, with his achievements including winning the Texas Open Snooker Championship last year.
In snooker, a 147 break is the highest possible score in a single frame, requiring the potting of all 15 red balls, each followed by a black, and then clearing the six colored balls in one continuous visit.
