KARACHI: The price of gold in Pakistan fell by Rs300 on Friday, bringing the rate down to Rs276,700 per tola, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA).
The price of 10 grams of gold also dropped by Rs256, reaching Rs237,226.
This decrease follows a sharp rise of Rs1,500 the previous day, when gold prices hit an all-time high of Rs277,000 per tola.
In the international market, gold prices also declined, with the rate per ounce falling by $2 to $2,663 (including a $20 premium), according to the APGJSA.
