Gold prices in Pakistan saw a decline on Thursday after hitting record highs earlier in the week.
According to data from the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of gold per tola dropped by Rs2,300, bringing it down to Rs283,100. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold decreased by Rs1,971, now standing at Rs242,713 in the local market.
Meanwhile, silver prices remained stable, with the per tola price fixed at Rs3,350, and 10 grams of silver available at Rs2,872.08.
Just a day prior, gold prices had continued their upward trend, reaching an all-time high. The per tola price had surged by Rs2,000 to hit Rs285,400, while 10 grams of gold increased by Rs1,714, reaching Rs244,684.
