ISLAMABAD, November 1, 2024 – The price of petrol in Pakistan has increased by Rs1.35 per liter, effective for the next fortnight, according to a notification issued late Thursday by the Finance Division. This adjustment raises the petrol price from Rs247.03 to Rs248.38 per liter.
The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced that consumer prices for petroleum products are revised every two weeks, based on fluctuations in international market rates. In addition to petrol, the government also increased the price of high-speed diesel by Rs3.85 per liter, raising it from Rs251.29 to Rs255.14 per liter.
However, some prices were slightly reduced. Kerosene dropped by Rs1.48 per liter, from Rs163.02 to Rs161.54, while light diesel oil decreased by Rs2.61 per liter, bringing it from Rs150.
