Iranian Ambassador to Pakistan, Reza Amiri Moghadam, expressed heartfelt gratitude to the Pakistan Navy on Friday for its swift and dedicated response in rescuing 23 Iranian fishermen following a recent maritime accident.
In his message of appreciation, Ambassador Moghadam praised the professionalism and commitment of the Pakistan Navy, emphasizing the enduring spirit of mutual support between Iran and Pakistan in international rescue and humanitarian operations.
Highlighting the consistent cooperation between the two nations, Moghadam noted that both countries have a strong history of joint efforts in search and rescue missions, underscoring a legacy of solidarity and shared responsibility. Reflecting on past collaborations, he recalled a similar incident in March 2024, when the Pakistan Navy rescued eight Iranian fishermen from a burning vessel.
“The people of Iran are sincerely grateful for Pakistan’s unwavering readiness to offer assistance in times of need, exemplifying the deep bonds and mutual commitment that have marked Iran-Pakistan relations throughout history,” Ambassador Moghadam remarked.
