Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held talks with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty on the sidelines of the 15th Sir Bani Yas Forum in the UAE on November 15, 2024. The discussion centered on enhancing economic cooperation between the two countries, focusing on trade, investment, and tourism.
The annual retreat, taking place from November 15 to 17, has brought together global leaders and experts to discuss key issues, including regional peace, security, and economic transformation. Dar was invited to attend the forum by UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.
Pakistan and Egypt have been working to strengthen bilateral ties in recent years, with Pakistan particularly concentrating on its economic relations with Gulf nations. In August 2024, the two countries celebrated 75 years of diplomatic relations by issuing a joint postage stamp, marking their enduring partnership and commitment to deepening collaboration in the future.
