General Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff (COAS), joined the Christian community at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cathedral Church in Rawalpindi to celebrate Christmas. His visit highlighted the importance of unity and harmony in Pakistan.
The Christian community warmly welcomed the COAS, thanking him for his presence on this special occasion. General Asim Munir conveyed heartfelt Christmas greetings and shared the message of compassion, generosity, and goodwill that Christmas represents.
He praised the Christian community for their valuable contributions to Pakistan’s culture, economy, and national progress.
The COAS also paid tribute to Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, acknowledging his vision, leadership, and commitment to faith, unity, and discipline. He emphasized the need to follow Jinnah’s principles to make Pakistan peaceful and prosperous.
“As we celebrate this festive season, let’s work together to build the nation our founder dreamed of,” he urged.
