Renowned singer Ali Zafar has been selected to sing the official anthem for PSL 10. The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) announced the league’s official social media pages.
Zafar, known for his popular PSL anthems like Ab Khel Jamay Ga, has once again taken on the task of creating a song that will capture the excitement of the tournament. His return has thrilled fans, as his past anthems have set high standards for cricket-themed music in Pakistan.
In the past, PSL anthems have been performed by various artists. Khel Deewano Ka (2019) featured Fawad Khan and Young Desi, while Tayyar Hain (2020) was sung by Ali Azmat, Haroon, Asim Azhar, and Arif Lohar. The 2021 anthem Groove Mera, performed by Aima Baig, Naseebo Lal, and Young Stunners, introduced a new musical style. Agay Dekh (2022) had Atif Aslam and Aima Baig, while Sab Sitaray Humaray (2023) was performed by Asim Azhar, Shae Gill, and Faris Shafi.
The 10th edition of PSL will begin on April 11, with Islamabad United facing Lahore Qalandars at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The tournament will feature 34 matches across different cities, with the final set to take place at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium on May 18. Before the main event, an exhibition match will be played in Peshawar on April 8.
Matches will be held in Rawalpindi, Karachi, Lahore, and Multan, with three double-headers scheduled on select days, including Labour Day (May 1). Fans are eagerly awaiting the tournament and the release of its official anthem.
