He made these orders at a Thursday meeting in Islamabad, which focused on the Export Facilitation Scheme.
The professionals at the meeting presented ideas on how to strengthen the scheme while guaranteeing its proper support for exporters. The Scheme has been designed to reduce production expenses so Pakistani products can achieve international market competitiveness, according to meeting participants.
The Prime Minister declared export enhancement as a central priority for the government.
The Prime Minister demanded authorities work together with experts to perfect the Export Facilitation Scheme by simplifying its rules regarding raw material and manufacturing equipment imports for exporters. The Prime Minister requested teaming up with industrial and business organizations to provide their budget recommendations, which were included in the budget.
