Tech enthusiasts have been given a glimpse of Google’s upcoming Pixel Watch 4, thanks to newly leaked renders that surfaced online this week. Shared by reputable tech tipster Steve Hemmerstoffer, popularly known as @OnLeaks, in collaboration with 91Mobiles, the leaks include high-resolution 5K renders and a 360-degree video, offering an early look at the potential design of Google’s next-generation smartwatch.
The renders show the Pixel Watch 4 in a sleek black finish, keeping Google’s signature circular dial design intact, but with subtle refinements that suggest thoughtful upgrades under the hood.
Among the most notable changes is the apparent removal of the magnetic charging pins that were visible on the back of the Pixel Watch 3. This strongly suggests that Google may be shifting to a full wireless charging system, a move that aligns with industry trends and would mark a significant upgrade in the Pixel Watch lineup’s convenience and durability.
The Pixel Watch 4 is expected to be thicker than its predecessor — measuring 14.3mm in depth, compared to the Pixel Watch 3’s 12.3mm profile. While this may make the watch feel slightly bulkier, it could also signal a larger battery, potentially addressing long-standing user feedback regarding limited battery life on previous Pixel Watches.
In terms of size, the Pixel Watch 4 will reportedly come in two variants — 41mm and 45mm — mirroring the current generation’s offerings. The design will feature dual side buttons and a built-in speaker, maintaining the core interaction and functionality setup users are familiar with.
Although the display dimensions appear largely unchanged, the bezels look marginally slimmer, hinting at more usable screen space without increasing the overall size of the watch body — a welcomed improvement for those who value both form and function.
While there’s no official word from Google yet, industry expectations point toward a launch later in 2025, likely in tandem with the Pixel 10 smartphone series, as the company has historically revealed its Pixel Watch alongside its annual flagship phones. The Pixel Watch 3 was launched in August 2023 alongside the Pixel 9 lineup.
As always, pre-release leaks should be taken with caution, but given the reliable source, the Pixel Watch 4 seems poised to offer refined aesthetics, improved battery life, and possibly more convenient charging — all without straying too far from its original identity.
