Recently, the crossover SUV segment of Pakistan’s automobile industry has seen significant growth. It was virtually non-existent until 2018, with the exception of a few imported vehicles, and it is now the most populated section, with Chinese, South Korean, and Malaysian automakers bringing in their SUVs.
The Haval Jolion and the H6 are two new SUVs from Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SEWL), which were recently launched in Pakistan. Last month, Jolion was teased on Pakistani highways, and now the H6 test unit has arrived as well. The test vehicle is a third-generation H6 SUV, which made its debut in China in the middle of 2020.
The H6 has a variety of powertrain options, but it’s expected that the version coming to Pakistan will have a 1.5-liter turbocharged 4-cylinder engine with 169 horsepower and 285 Nm of torque, which will be sent to the front wheels through a 7-speed DCT automotive transmission.
In the foreign market, the hybrid model is equipped with a single electric motor and a 45 kWh lithium-ion battery pack.
The international market’s low prices for H6 variants can fit the Pakistani market. The cost of H6 will reach $20,000. (Rs. 3.06 million). The H6 could be a tough competitor in the SUV market even at this price point.
