Overseas Pakistanis gathered to get vaccinated with internationally approved Coronavirus vaccines turned violent in Islamabad’s F-9 Mass Vaccination Center (MVC) earlier today.
Thousands of expats from all over the country had arrived in Islamabad to receive Coronavirus vaccines of Pfizer and AstraZeneca.
However, things turned ugly when the healthcare staff at the F-9 MVC told ex-pats that only a few hundred of them will be vaccinated with internationally approved vaccines due to their limited availability.
After this, the overseas Pakistanis started protesting against the administration of the MVC. They not only vandalized the MVC but also kicked out the healthcare staff and occupied the vaccination counters of the MVC. The healthcare staff barely secured the doses of COVID-19 vaccines stored in the MVC.
