Rashid Khan the spin phenomenon from Afghanistan and their captain, took the charge with 4 wickets giving away only 17 runs. The result is their second massive win in the World Cup with the previous one being a 125-run win against Uganda.
Both the wins came at the same stadium, taking Afghanistan back to the top of the table for Group C. After Kane Williamson, the captain of New Zealand elected to field first, the Afghanis put on a total of 159 runs.
