Air Sial, Pakistan’s prominent private airline, has launched direct weekly flights from Islamabad to Riyadh, with plans to add routes from Lahore to the Saudi capital soon.
In a press release issued Sunday, Air Sial announced the launch of two weekly flights from Islamabad to Riyadh, providing convenient travel options for passengers. The airline’s management further shared that flights from Lahore are set to commence in the near future.
To mark this milestone, Air Sial inaugurated its new regional office in Riyadh on Thursday. The event was officiated by Pakistan’s Welfare Attaché, Rana Muhammad Masoom, and attended by community members along with the airline’s regional and country management teams. A celebratory cake-cutting ceremony was also held, symbolizing the beginning of these weekly flights, with plans underway to expand service to additional Pakistani cities.
Established in 2020 by the Sialkot Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Air Sial aims to enhance air travel options to and from Sialkot, a key industrial center in Punjab. Operating a modern fleet of Airbus A320 aircraft, the airline caters to the needs of thousands of Pakistanis who travel to Saudi Arabia annually for work and religious purposes, including the Umrah pilgrimage in Makkah and Madinah.
With affordable, direct flights to major Saudi cities such as Jeddah and Riyadh, Air Sial continues to support religious tourism and strengthen ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
