Alina Ahsan, a Pakistani-origin student, was awarded the King’s Gold Medal in a prestigious ceremony held at Sandringham.
During a meeting with His Majesty King Charles at Sandringham House, Alina received this esteemed honor. Expressing her gratitude, Alina described the experience as a memorable opportunity in her life. She expressed her passion for medicine and highlighted her time as a student at Oxford University as a special and unforgettable experience.
A graduate of the King Edward VII (KESVII) Academy, Alina remarked, “It was a day I will always cherish, being recognized by King Charles for my dedication and hard work.” She became eligible for this honor in 2023.
Alina, currently pursuing medicine at Oxford University, has been recognized as the recipient of the King’s Gold Medal. The ceremony was attended by her family members and the Vice Principal of KES.
