Even without Apple Intelligence, iOS 18 is a large-scale update. Customization choices are at an all-time high, and with a little movement, you’ll be able to personalize your iPhone unlike ever before.
iOS 18 lets you position app icons wherever on the Home Screen grid, and there are new “Dark” and “Tinted” customization choices for changing the color of app icons. You may also make app icons seem larger, without text labels below them.
Apple claims that the Photos app saw its most significant makeover to date in iOS 18, with tabs replaced by an all-in-one layout. The changes have proven controversial, leading Apple to change the app’s interface during the iOS 18 beta testing period.
While iOS 18 is accessible on a variety of devices, the “Apple Intelligence” capabilities will initially be limited to newer models. Only the “iPhone 15 Pro”, “iPhone 15 Pro Max”, and the future iPhone 16 models will offer these advanced functions at launch.
