In the Meeting of Asian Cricket Council on October 15, It was decided that Asia Cup 2023 will be hosted by Pakistan PCB in an ODI Format.

However, the Asia Cup 2022 will be held in Sirilanka in a T20 format.
The news of Asia Cup 2023 happening in Pakistan gathered high praises from Pakistanis, but Indians didn’t seem so happy. Some Indians are even saying that India will Boycott Asia Cup if they gave the hosting to Pakistan. Although we will see about that because no official statement has been released by Indian Cricket Board.
However, Pakistanis showed cheerful comments as this came as a happy news for them, especially after the cancellation of cricket series by New Zealand Cricket Board and England Cricket Board.
