ISLAMABAD: Pakistani scientists have until August 31 to apply for the Young Scientists’ Fellowship Program (YSTP), supported by the Mustafa Science and Technology Foundation (MSTF) and COMSTECH, the OIC Standing Committee on Scientific and Technical Cooperation, according to the Associated Press of Pakistan (APP).
The fellowship, hosted at the Sharif University of Technology in Tehran, is designed to support young scientists from Islamic countries. Eligible applicants must be under 40 years old and hold at least a Master’s degree. The program offers short-term fellowships ranging from 6 to 12 months in cutting-edge fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Renewable Energy, IoT, AI, Biotechnology, and more.
The initiative aims to build capacity and nurture the next generation of scientists by exposing them to advanced technological achievements, fostering international collaborations, and enhancing the quality of research. It also seeks to address important scientific and technological challenges in the Islamic world through cooperation and knowledge sharing.
