Pakistan cricket star Babar Azam announced his resignation as the white-ball captain of the national team on Tuesday.

Describing the captaincy as a “rewarding experience,” Babar acknowledged that it had also imposed a considerable workload on him. He stated, “I want to prioritize my performance, enjoy my batting, and spend quality time with my family, which brings me joy.”
By stepping down, Babar aims to gain clarity and redirect his energy toward his game and personal development.
