Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari, the eldest daughter of President Asif Ali Zardari and the late Prime Minister Benazir Bhutto has named her third son after her maternal grandfather, Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto.
On Tuesday, Bakhtawar and her husband, Mahmood Chaudhry, took to Instagram to announce the name of their newborn son, “Mir Zulfiqar Mahmood Chaudhry.” The couple shared that the name honors Bakhtawar’s iconic grandfather, the founder of the Pakistan People’s Party and a former Prime Minister of Pakistan.
In the heartfelt post, Bakhtawar wrote: “In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. May this name be a blessing to him and bring him good health and fortune. O Allah, make him a child of compassion and love. Guide him on the path of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and spread his light of wisdom and benevolence in this world.”
The announcement comes just one day after Bakhtawar shared the joyful news of her third son’s birth on Monday. The couple, who married on January 29, 2021, previously welcomed their first son in October 2021 and their second son in October 2022.
