The Balochistan government has bestowed honors upon Shahzaib Rind, the karate champion who emerged victorious over his Indian counterpart in a recent competition held in Dubai.
Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti warmly welcomed Shahzaib Rind, the captain of the Karate Combat team, in Quetta, where he offered sincere congratulations for his remarkable triumph against India.
In acknowledgment of his outstanding achievement, the government has pledged a government job, a substantial cash prize of Rs2 million, and sponsorship for training abroad, including coverage of travel expenses, to support his future endeavors.
“Shahzaib Rind stands as a source of immense pride for Balochistan and Pakistan,” remarked Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti during the meeting. “His victory highlights the wealth of exceptional talent within our region. It’s imperative that we nurture and support such gifted individuals.”
In response, Shahzaib Rind expressed gratitude to the government for their encouragement and pledged to continue bringing honor to the nation through his sporting achievements.
Shahzaib Rind’s triumph has not only made waves in the realm of sports but has also captured attention beyond borders. Bollywood superstar Salman Khan, in a heartfelt gesture, met Shahzaib and commended his extraordinary agility and skill on the mat.
