Biggest Achievement in Health Sector by NUST

On Friday, Imran Khan, the Prime Minister of Pakistan inaugurated the first-ever low-priced cardiac facility in the country having the aim to develop cardiac stents nationally. ‘N-Ovative Health Technologies’ associated with NUST has begun the development of cardiac stents on a national level.

Along with cardiac stents, the technology company has also started developing angioplasty balloon catheters. These amenities will be provided to the general public within an affordable range.

Addressing to the inauguration event, Prime Minister Imran Khan applauded the new venture

Imran Khan emphasized that it is a benchmark initiative taken by NUST at a time when heart diseases have become substantial. Referencing the price range he states that there is considerable affordability in these stents than the ones available at a high price in the market.
This will provide sufficient health care to the unprivileged masses of Pakistan suffering from cardiac complications.
