Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, the chairman of the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) and a former foreign minister, urged to the citizens on Tuesday to give him an opportunity to serve them in the general elections in 2024.
Addressing the Workers’ Convention in Upper Dir, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated that if the masses give him a chance in the next general elections, he will change Pakistan’s fate.
According to the former foreign minister, politics of division and hatred are wreaking havoc on Pakistan and its people. Senior politicians, he argued, are settling personal scores.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, blaming the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf for the country’s record inflation, stating people who came to power on the promise of “change” only delivered “destruction.”
The PPP chairman stated that his party intends to offer provinces ownership rights over their resources. After taking office, the 18th Constitutional Amendment and the National Finance Commission (NFC) Award will be implemented.
The PPP leader highlighted the presence of numerous ministries in Islamabad that, according to him, hinder the effective service to the masses. He pledged that, upon assuming power, the PPP would take steps to streamline the budget of these ministries.
He emphasized that addressing the challenges at hand is not a complicated task; it requires the determination to serve the people. Bilawal affirmed that the PPP has faith in the strength of the people and has consistently advocated for the interests of the common citizens.
