Brazilian footballer, Marcelo Costa Schroeder, has been appointed Pakistan’s goalkeeping coach.
The PFF intends to resume national football activities after FIFA lifts the football ban. In this regard, the rehabilitation of Pakistan’s national football squad is well underway. To aid the national squad, a Brazilian goalkeeping coach has been hired.
In 1994, Marcelo Costa Schroeder started working as a goalkeeper. He finally received coaching certificates from the Qatar Football Federation, Brazil Football Federation, and AFC Level 3 levels. He received his FIFA-approved coaching certificate in 2010.
In the 2019 FIFA World Cup Qualifiers, Marcelo Costa Schroeder previously worked with the Pakistani football team. The goalkeeping coach was happy to be back with the group. He also commended PFF for having faith in his ability to rejoin the team once more.
