The Chairman of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, Imran Khan, met with the British High Commissioner, Christian Turner, on Tuesday to discuss bilateral relations between the two countries.
Mr. Khan emphasised the importance of curbing money laundering and the transfer of wealth from poor to rich countries.
Other participants in the meeting included Fawad Chaudhry and Amir Mehmood Kiyani, the central additional secretary of the PTI.
At a recent gathering, Imran Khan spoke about the need to curtail money laundering and the transfer of wealth from poorer to richer countries.
He noted that this transfer of capital creates a global imbalance and encourages people to migrate to the wealthier nations, causing a brain drain in the process and making it difficult for poor countries to compete.
Khan urged the British government to take a leading role in curbing this practice.
