Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan (CAA) has eased the travel restrictions on inbound passengers. CAA abolished the Rapid Antigen Test condition for all those arriving by air and land routes.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan (CAA) in its updated travel restrictions has abolished RAT (Rapid Antigen Test) with effect from 8 February 2022 for inbound travelers / pedestrians (Border Terminals).
The Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority announced this on their official Twitter handle. CAA also shared some details of the revised inbound policy
The Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan also said:
“This exemption will not apply to deportees travelling without mandatory pre-boarding negative PCR and non-vaccinated pedestrians at Border Terminals.”

Moreover, Civil Aviation Authority of Pakistan also refers Letter No 801/A/Ops Ill /NCOC-01 dated 30 September 2021 and 801/A/Ops III /NCOC-01 dated 03 January 2022 and 801/A/Ops III /NCOC-01 dated 06 January 2022 and our letter no 801/A/Ops III /NCOC-01 dated 31 January 2022.
Here are details and conditions:
1. CAA abolished RAT on arrival with effect from 8 February 2022 for inbound travelers / pedestrians (Border Terminals) except following categories:
- Deportees travelling without mandatory pre-boarding negative PCR (max 48 hours).
- Non-Vaccinated pedestrians at Border Terminals.
2. Moreover, CAA required ensuring following pre-boarding protocols:
- Vaccination for all inbound passengers except exempted from mandatory vaccination as already intimated vide our letter no 801/A/Ops III /NCOC-01 dated 06 January 2022 and our letter no 801/A/Ops Ill /NCOC-01 dated 31 January 2022.
- Pre-boarding Negative PCR (max 48 hours old).
