China firmly supports Pakistan in maintaining security and stability, as well as achieving development and revitalization, and stands ready to provide assistance to the best of its ability to help Pakistan overcome temporary difficulties.
At a meeting with Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on the sidelines of the 59th Munich Security Conference, Wang Yi, Director of the Office of the Foreign Affairs Commission of the Communist Party of China Central Committee, made the remarks.
He claimed that the friendship between China and Pakistan is unbreakable and that the two countries are all-weather strategic cooperating partners.
He declared that China is prepared to collaborate with Pakistan to put into practice the strategic understanding reached by the leaders of the two countries and create a more intimate community with a shared future in the new era.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari expressed pleased with the progress of relations between Pakistan and China. He highlighted that China is Pakistan’s all-weather supporter and that improving ties with China and advancing the development of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor are key components of Pakistan’s foreign strategy.
He declared that Pakistan would tenaciously combat terrorism and take all necessary precautions to protect the security of Chinese businesses and individuals in Pakistan.
Also, the two sides discussed how to improve their mutual assistance in view of the current world situation.
