The Chinese electric car manufacturer announced its investment in Pakistan during a ceremony held in Islamabad on Saturday. Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, delivered the keynote speech, emphasizing the critical role of sustainable innovation in shaping Pakistan’s future.
Welcoming BYD’s entry, the finance minister praised the company’s dedication to advanced technology and environmental responsibility. He noted, “BYD’s presence in our market is not merely about introducing new vehicles; it represents a commitment to a sustainable future and aligns with Pakistan’s environmental objectives of enhancing energy efficiency.”
